The presentation I gave went for about two hours. Part of it was in English and part was in Spanish. I could have gone on another half-an-hour had it not been time for la comida.

On Thursday, I tried something at a restaurant that I haven't had before, and it was quite tasty. It was "palmito" salad--heart of palm salad. I went into this with an open mind (and hungry stomach) and when I took my first bite, I thought it was very good.
